Dear student,

 

We are pleased to inform you of the Fall Semester housing application schedule below.

Please check the information below carefully and prepare for the Fall Semester housing application.

 

 

 

NOTICE for Housing Application

2026 FALL SEMESTER

 

Housing Period

From 23rd Aug.,2026 to 21st Dec.,2026

 

Check-in &

Check-out

Check-in ; Starting from 10 a.m. KST on Aug. 23rd

* You may check in at any time, including late at night or on a later date.

* Check out should be completed by 11 a.m. on the check-out date.

 

Eligibility

Exchange/visiting students only

* International students, except exchange and visiting students, should apply for Muak dormitory.

 

Remark

* Housing assignments are made on a first come, first served basis.

* Housing is not guaranteed 100% for exchange/visiting students.

* Please check Yonsei portal and housing website regularly to avoid missing any notice.

* No confirmation email after submission and payment.

 

Application

Open at 10 a.m. 2nd June to 11:59 p.m. 9th June (KST)

 

* APPLICATION SITE : Yonsei Portal https://portal.yonsei.ac.kr/

* Only PC or tablet PC available/Log-in is available from June 1st.

* ACADEMIC INFO SYSTEM > DORM(SHINCHON) > APPLICATION

* Application form is unavailable before the application period

Result

Update at 5 p.m. 11th June (KST)

 

* Assigning on a first-come, first-served

* Find your result in Yonsei Portal> ACADEMIC INFO SYSTEM > DORM(SHINCHON) > APPLICATION > select [2026-Fall]

* Between June 10th and 11th 5p.m. KST, your submitted housing application will not be shown.

* If you’re selected, your status goes to Step 5(bill issued)

 

Payment

Completed by 11:59 p.m. 30th June (KST)

*Payment method : wire transfer through your bank, Wise or Flywire

*Consider the transfer commission incurred during the overseas wire transfer and the transfer period.

*Any short payment can be settled by cash from the on-campus bank after moving in.

*If the payment is not confirmed by the due date, the housing will be canceled without notice.

*Bank info. Will be updated on the result day in ACADEMIC INFO SYSTEM > Dorm(sinchon) > invoice > select [2026-2nd Semester] > Click [ENG] button

Cancellation Fee

Full refund with the email notification or submit cancellation request through Yonsei portal by 23:59 p.m. (KST) on 21st Aug.

*ACADEMIC INFO SYSTEM > Dorm(Sinchon) > refund before move-in

Roommate Request

From 22nd to 25th July

*ACADEMIC INFO SYSTEM >  Dorm(Sinchon) > Roommate Request

*Available after your status is on the Step 6 [paid]

*One person have to submit the request and the other have to approve it during the period above.

 

Required document

for check-in

TB test report only

*Regardless of nationality, all students should submit the result report upon check-in.

*Vaccination records are not acceptable.

*X-ray, skin test or blood test is acceptable.

 

*Test results received after June 23rd is acceptable

 

Waitlist

*Ones whose application is not accepted, are to be on the waitlist automatically, according to the application order.

*If any type of room is available, we will contact you from July 6th by email.
